SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE FOR A 2012 NOVATO GRADUATE

The Novato Republican Women, Federated is offering a $1,000 college scholarship to a high school senior living in Novato who will be attending college in the fall of 2012. The award will be granted on the basis of an essay, grade point average, and scholastic and extracurricular accomplishments. One teacher or personal recommendation will be accepted but is not required.

Essay topic: Write a minimum of 500 words exploring the following:

What does "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" mean in our Declaration of Independence? How does our Constitution advance and protect these rights and affect your opportunities to achieve your dreams?

Washington D.C. Internship Available

Advocacy Day in Sacramento

High School Students are invited to join us for a one-day lesson in state government every year in April.
