Mark Krikorian is one of the most influential voices on the immigration issue with a solid 22 year career leading the Center for Immigration Studies. The Center, headquartered in Washington, D.C., began in 1985 to respond to the need for reliable, fact-based research on the immigration topic. Donald Trump cited the Center’s work during his campaign, drawing the ire of many.
Fractious as the topic is, essential rational dialogue has begun. Now, we actually are discussing specific policy points such as lottery visas, chain migration and qualifications.
We are fortunate that Mr. Krikorian will talk with us about some of the Center’s immigration studies so that we can make informed choices. Who benefits and who loses from loose enforcement of immigration laws? Mark is frequently asked to appear on major cable television and broadcast news networks. His writings have been published in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and The New York Times, and he is a contributor at National Review Online.
